Today was a different type of Charter. A dive crew’s boat had broken down and they needed to finish a Sea Cucumber survey.

I was available, so off we went. It was quite relaxing actually. Decent seas and no rain. The divers take a survey of areas that are picked by the DFO. We drop a line in 10ft of water then back out to 50ft. The diver’s get in and follow the line back in to ten feet of water surveying the bottom to see if the sea Cucumber numbers will allow a harvest.

The weather has changed for the worst again. I’ve had to cancel my trip for today(the 27th.) I will be back out on the 29 with Andy and crew…
