The lingcod fishing has been off the charts in Ucluelet the last few days. Justin and his crew really cleaned up on the rockfish and lingcod. The halibut are heating up again out at Long Beach also.
We also had an over sized release .
Oh ya the Chinook Salmon are still around in good numbers also. Sail Rock is still the place to be.
Not to be out done Lee and Noreen found a few nice ling on a 4 hour jigging bash on Monday morning.
The lingcod are mostly biting herring on spreader bars, with the odd one coming on Berkley power grubs. The Salmon are still on the needle fish patterns for my boat. The halibut were taking Salmon scraps and herring.
What a May long weekend!!!!
