Well we didn’t find a barn door for the Rich family on the 7th of June. Things definitely slowed down for the 7,8 and 9th. The fish have been changing spots frequently the last few days. But we seem to be on top of them again. Florencia islet has been holding Chinook in decent numbers. Also Seachart and Beg island have been producing. Gibbs Skinny G spoons in the glow herring aid pattern have been working lately on the Chinook.

The weather has been tough to say the least this spring. Plenty of high winds and big seas. Getting out to the halibut grounds has been infrequent. But we managed to sneak out on the 11th to South Bank and find a few good ones. Salmon bellies and herring off spreader bars are the ticket.

Back out again tomorrow with Bill and family. We are hoping to have some nice Chinook pictures to share.
