The fishing has been steady over the last few days.
The lighthouse, sail rock and Florencia have been holding decent numbers of Chinook with the odd Coho mixed in. Gibbs Skinny G spoons in the Herring Aid pattern behind a Gibbs brain freeze flasher has been the most consistent pattern for most boats lately.
The halibut have been hit and miss the last few days. Long Beach,The Barn Yard and south bank have been holding halibut but not in larg numbers. Like our summer weather they are a little late in showing up this season.
We are finally getting some sun in the forecast for Ucluelet. Although it will be coming along with some strong north westerly winds we will be happy to see it!
